Every project at Periti Studios starts with a world worth looking at. Everything after that protects the first image. Direction, production, editing all answer to it.

I'm Alexander Kiesel, a film producer and director based in Cyprus, and I work the way a small independent studio has to: fast, visual, and obsessive about how something feels before anyone asks what it is about. A trailer, a short film, even a single frame: if it doesn't hold your eye, nothing else matters yet.

My process usually begins with image and atmosphere rather than a finished script. I build the look first. Light, color, character, location, then I let direction and pacing grow out of it. AI-assisted tools let me test cinematic ideas at a speed traditional production was never built for, so I can iterate on a whole world quickly and only commit to the versions that actually land.

That instinct runs through everything I make at Periti Studios. Red Empress is built around royal power and myth; The Last Amazon around survival and tension; Periti Combat turns staged fights into cinema; and Still Motion strips it all back to calm, lo-fi 2.5D animation. Different moods, one method: protect the feeling, then build outward.

Working independently from Cyprus means I keep full creative control from first frame to final cut, with small crews and modern tools instead of large pipelines. It is slower in some ways and far faster in others. That is why the work looks like one person's point of view rather than a committee's.
